I think it’s a good thing. I hope Biden approves it. Russia invaded a sovereign nation with no need to. It’s only because of Putin and his desires to put the Soviet union back together. If we don’t agree to it, then Ukraine will fall. I guess you are paying extra taxes to fund this cowboy mission?

I'm not saying this is a good idea, but to be fair Putin has lost all credibility. Thousands of Ukrainians are currently waltzing about Russia taking town after town. Putin is losing a thousand plus men daily. A huge chunk of them are suicides as it's become customary amongst Russian troops to just off yourself anytime a drone gets near you. Better than laying there for 3 days to slowly bleed out with your legs blown off. Speaking of nastiness.... Ukraine now has "dragon fire" drones. These are giant drones that rain down thermite over Russian trenches. The drones just follow along the entire trench and melt everything in them. If you know anything about thermite, you know that's got to be a quick but awful way to go.
The punch line here is Ukraine has been attacking deep inside Russia for many months with drones. I'm not sure this really changes much from Putin's point of view.

Great exactly what we need, a World War at the time of us dealing with mental incompetence in the office.

Putin is always talking about starting WWIII, literally every day. He's a blowhard just like his fat North Korean buddy. That's true, but he's a blow hard with nukes. You can bet even Arkansas will receive a nuke or two.

He told Putin it would be Ok for a small invasion of Ukraine to begin with. You can bet there is some kind of cut in benefits coming for SS or VA coming to pay for it.

You can bet even Arkansas will receive a nuke or two. Nukes that may or may not work and with a command to launch that may or may not be followed. He can't shoot down a Ukrainian garage drone. We gave Israel it's Iron Dome. We'd shoot down a majority of whatever he lobs this way. We all lose, but Putin especially loses in a nuclear war. He knows this.

I remember someone telling me about an international incident where one of our seal teams was facing down a large Italian force on one of their runways. The seal team leader told the pentagon that they were could handle a significantly larger Italian force but he warned that if one person made one wrong move it would have a very bad result. As a result of that we allowed some bad guys to get away that day and the Seal Team left. Its not always the smart thing to do even if you are capable of doing it. Lets hope Putin is not the loose cannon here.

It’s not a good development. It sure how it plays out. I can’t see anything positive about it.
