Good lord the BASS crew is showing what a complete bunch of brokedicks they got running things. Cheaters, rule breakers, trying to keep all the tired worn out olds in the mix, Classic weigh-in behind the port o lets, then forgot to think about the rules they were changing. It appears BASS MLF and NPFL are all the same now. It’s as if Boyd already took over. Haha. What a joke. No matter the rule changes the rules olds will still finish at the bottom of the pack and find something else to cry about Hey you’re not that young! 😂 but you don’t complain about getting beat, so there’s that LOL 😎 Thing is, I know I suck but with all those fancy rods and reels I look good trying With the glare from that 40lb bald head ain’t nobody able to see those ugly sticks you are using.

I'm not sure if they changed it for this year, but it's always been a no info rule into effect once the schedule came out. Maybe someone made a mistake about one of their series about info.

I’ve said this before. Just stabilize the sport. Regardless of the new tech and garbage that comes along.
Bass fishing is about selling products. Period.
Quit trying to act like a professional sport and just admit you’re a mouthpiece for selling product.
Stabilize the sport… so we can see who’s good at what. Every “sport”has it figured out except for bass fishing. Just chasing money.

I think it's becoming painfully obvious that it's just for peddling product. Sell baits, sell rods, sell boats. Keep the old guy around no matter what because they have marketable name. Young guys who nobody knows winning with cheap baits and fairy wands won't cut it and even worse the ffs has shown that about 70 percent of everything they said was nonsense.

This doesn’t stop them from purchasing waypoints… they go to a site that doesn't require you to use any of your real information, has nothing to do with outdoors or fishing. Seller posts a link on a thread about knitting, buyer clicks the link and purchases. Waypoints were just acquired via info obtained on a public site.

What they need to do is clean house or bring in a fully committed person that review rules, ethics, etc. This way it can be written down that no grey area is permitted. Then and maybe then, we can get some sleep away from this drama.

Name a pro sport that isn’t about money.
No information rule is impossible to enforce. There is such a thing as bad info. Tournaments are also lost because of info. People come up and want to talk to the anglers and they have to quickly tell them not to.
If your buddy fishes a lake on the tour and you go by his house and see the deck of his boat and he has 5 baits tied on, that’s info. Normally he keeps those in the rod locker.
It’s the Information Age. Just let everyone do it and then you know the playing field is level.
We have a company saltwater tournament. In the guided division you can’t weigh in a fish the guide caught. 100% a number of teams are. Just make it guides fish weigh and you know it’s even across all teams.
Tournament ethics get worse each year. You see things they do like fishing on top of each other that you would do or maybe you would knowing you shouldn’t. Ethics in society get worse each year.

agree that no info rule is impossible to enforce....try having a rule that you cannot buy information and see how that works...

Unless you put the fear of career death into the anglers. Someone needs to be made an example of, don't be coddling rookies, someone breaks this rule you ban them for life.

I agree with this statement. Feels like pre-FFS there was a HUGE variety in what caught fish, or at least, in what was marketed to bass guys. Notice how crappie, white bass, and catfish guys only use a handful of baits/lures? Anyway, I think FFS has shown that most of the "seasonal patterns" or "season-specific" lures were a bunch of nonsense.

To me, that was the glory of fishing. Not knowing exactly everything. Pre FFS nobody was out in the open chasing bass around with a trolling motor and a fake minnow. It wasn’t nonsense, it was fishing. Now it’s scoping. Literally the motto is “if you’re not scoping, you’re hoping” A lot of the baits had rattles to help get the fished attention. Those were useful.
