any feedback on this for forward facing sonar. I was thinking about getting one as I want my sonar be independent of my trolling motor direction. Or any other ideas?

All I e read about it is it’s not IF, BUT WHEN, will the motor burn up on it. I was interested in one too, but I just don’t want problems. I don’t want some goofy looking pole hanging off the side of my bow either. So I’m waiting for someone else to bring something better to market.

We quite selling and installing the Rite Hite for it has too many issues. We now sell and install the dd26 Livefoot. Its been great and we haven't had any issues with them.

Give me a call if we can help.

I ended up ordering this. Mounts to my Ultrex and is just a hand control. That is really what I wanted anyways. I think it would just be easier and I don't see the point in pulling more power off the battery.
