The Dewalt will do it. Model 899.

But some folks rave about the Harbor freight.

Milwaukee!! This thing will remove them, or break the studs…whichever comes first.

I have the big SnapOn 1/2”’18v, it it’s kinda lame. I keep it in the truck, along with a breaker bar. The 1/2” Milwaukee doesn’t need the breaker bar. Period. It’s a BEAST!

Remember the good old days? If you needed an impact. You had to have an air compressor, a hose, and an impact gun. Otherwise you were SOL. It was a long breaker bar or nothing. Or some huge 4-way lug wrench.

Then corded impacts made the scene. Cheap pink looking orange, early Harbor freight junk. Weak as all get out.

Then the cordless. With 1/2" drills that'll damn near break your wrist if you're not careful. With the cordless impacts being monsters.

I sure do wish I had one 30 years ago. Amazing stuff.

A good pair of impact resistant gloves come in handy with the Milwaukee. It will rattle your hands pretty good. Leaves ya feeling all tingly. roflmao

yesterday i removed all 4 tires from my flatbed tractor trailer with a harbor freight 3/4" battery impact. the lugs offered no resistance. i normally don't buy low end stuff, but i'm very pleased with it.

That Harbor Freight gun is almost an exact copy of the SnapOn. And it costs a fraction of the money. It’s definitely a good buy if you don’t need a commercial grade gun.

You can find brand new Milwaukee at the Bell County flea market. Still in the box. No idea where it comes from. But I've looked close at the boxes. It's real Milwaukee.

You can also find some Dewalt. Same deal, new in the box.

I usually buy my Dewalt from Lowe's. But Murdoch's has recently set up shop in the old Gander Mountain store. They have everything Dewalt makes. Isles of it. Some Milwaukee. Murdoch's is like a cross between a Cavender's boot city and Tractor Supply. Really nice place. They also send out coupons. I bought boots at half price from there.

The other place I get new, never used Dewalt. The local pawnshop. You can find deals. The Dewalt vacuum, I bought, was $150 at Home Depot. Amazon... Damn freaking Amazon...had it for $120.

The deal with the tool trucks is this. They sell at full retail, expecting to have someone pay it out $20’a week. If you tell them you’re not gonna pay it out and you aren’t gonna pay the 15-20% interest, they will negotiate. I usually get them to sell for 15-20% off or throw in something of value in on the deal. When I bought the impact set, it was both the 1/2” and the 3/8”, two 5ah batteries, and a charger….in a carrying bag. I got him the throw in a 18v Milwaukee angle grinder for free.
Same sorta deal with the mini impact/drill driver and 3/8 drill. Got a free buffer with it.
You gotta wheel and deal.

I still have never used the grinder. It’s in the bottom drawer of my tool cabinet….collecting dust. Maybe it wasn’t a good deal! roflmao
