You might want to slow down on the Flomax for a while. bolt

Seriously, I would think that much pressure could be a hazard to your water lines. I am running around 60 pounds. Are you on city or co-op water? They may need to be notified and may be able to put a restriction device on the lines. I did a little research and found the minimum should be 35 pounds and the max around 80 pounds to prevent potential problems with household appliances.

Insurance is the end product, correcting the issue is first issue.

Yep, you're going to have plumbing problems down the road if you don't install a pressure regulator to get that number down.

Wondered if it was because I live 4 blocks from fire station. The water pressure has never been this strong in the past..

Do you have a water tower near by?

I would get a adjustable pressure regulator installed and understand how it works, i see problems brewing, and not easy fixes, it it goes south in wrong spot.

No water tower near me at all but they did just complete a big apartment complex within a half mile of me and I thought that might have something to do with it as well.

I would assume that a larger water line was required fro the apartments, and when tied in to existing lines, incresease of presure.
We have dealt with the issue for years, get a regulator cheap insurance,

We had a 100 unit complex about a block and half away from a major water tower in Ft. Worth that always had issues with high pressure. Place was built in the 60's and probably there before the water tower. Learned a lot from that place. But yeah, that pressure will grind away at the rubber valves & seats in your faucets and what not. That pressure played hell on the old flare fittings at that complex. Quite humorus when the city made us change out the old flow toilets with new low flows. Had to really crank down on the new compression fitting because the pressure dismembered a couple of the new "big box" store turn off valves on some toilets. Good times.

I don't see anything wrong with it.
