Meanwhile Cody Meyer is steadily kicking butt in the Opens EQs.

Technically the "tour" has been FLW now MLF since the Elite series series came to be mid 2000's. Before that there was the bassmaster top 100/150 tour going way back and the FLW tour which started in the mid 1990's.

You could keep going back to 1979....Operation Bass preceded FLW. There were some "pros" sprinkled in that mix. 1983 was when the Red Man regionals began.

I could be wrong but wasn't Operation bass Redman basically what the BFL's are now?, the All-american is still the championship.

Have you competed in any trails? Have you tried to get to make it to the top? I'd like to hear your story.

I’m not sure that anyone in the top 10 on that Legends list would be competitive in the Elite series anymore.

You can't be over 40 years old and scope. This is a young mans game. I'm in the old farts club. Can't scope because I'm too old. I was competitive when flashers were used.

I think Ott would be just fine, a few others may do ok. But most would probably struggle to make the Classic consistently.

Is there a BASS Legend spot open?

Cliff Pace and Randy Howell took the two spots available this year.

Your eyes go bad? Can’t see the screen? Not too bright? Can’t learn anything anymore? Speak for yourself, when I get to the point I can’t learn anymore I’ll retire, oh wait I retired already. 🤷‍♂️

Can't do it. I've read online that anyone over 40 is outdated and uncapable to adapt. Need to be put out to pasture. We are just living in the past.
