Best solution I've come up with is never leave the garage door fully open... We have a 10ft door so I close it so there are 2 panels down. If I forget and get a hummingbird in the garage, I'll close the door about two feet and hang the feeder from the garage door release rope... It normally takes the bird a minute or two to find the feeder. When they land on the feeder I make myself look as big as possible by waving a big plastic rake I have. That forces them to head out the door... For some reason they don't fly towards light, they just stay way up in the rafters and rce back and forth... Dan

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Did the same thing with one that got trapped in the top of my metal boat canopy.
