I actually get quite a few compliments on the color of my skeeter. I do agree however that they do choose some ugly color schemes though. Id rather have an ugly color than be going down the lake and my graphs fall into my lap or the bow ones fall off because the shroud is so cheap like a very other popular brand ive seen happen a bunch of times.

Your boat color has been one of the hot sellers for them the last several years. Several anglers have asked for them to do the FXR in that color and that haven’t. Not sure why.

They really should bring back the select option. Also should let you add whatever brand TM and electronics instead of making you go with Humminbird/Minn Kota. Only option for that now is the FXR/Pro.

I think this is one of those colors schemes you'd just have to see in person.
Skeeter built one back in the early 90's that was metal flake brown and gold. Plano Marine had a brand new one at the time and I wanted it but it was just a little more than I wanted to spend at the time. It was absolutely gorgeous.

That color is special and comes with (2) 12” kicker subwoofers and matching rear view mirror fuzzy dice and steering wheel cover. Optional is the air bags on the trailer allowing you to lower the height to match tow vehicle.

Skeeter today is like buying an Avalon, it's a Toyota but it is really nice. The top tier manufacturers are like buying a true luxury car you can order what you want and do not have to settle for the packages and colors they choose for you. It's like taking your car to Maaco to get painted or your shop. Both will paint your car, but one is clearly better quality and will have a lot more options to customize your car.

Skeeter used to be one of the better values in a boat. I have not priced any boats in a couple of years, so not sure about now. But Skeeter doesn't offer the customization options as they used to prior to being purchased by the Japanese.

Yamaha has owned Skeeter for almost 29 years. How much color customization did they allow in 1996 and prior?

Love them.

People like them, easier to keep scum lines off of and easy to hide scratches and dings.

Bottom line is this. When you are asking a buyer to spend close to $100k on boats. You need to give them choices when buying. And not just 4 or 5 color options.
