Many will say she needs to improve her aim. Well we aren’t target shooting . I was standing behind her moving her front, back, left right yelling at her to pull the trigger. 75 rounds from a 38 special. 50 of them doing this drill. My daughter will not be a victim without defense. Were you telling her beer is the devil? The box is about the same size aa a man's mid-body. She leaving for college and will be going to rodeos on her own. She’s gonna be prepared to take of herself

I taught my youngest girl at 5 and her sister at 12.
22lr for the youngest. Marlin youth model bolt action. Big red dot sight. Her sister got a bolt action in 17HMR. Scope. Ear muffs and bipods all around.
Put both on a small berm. Laid down some nice towels to put their elbows on. 25yards to target. Paper target, cans on the ground, and one of their stuffed animals, they didn't like, hung from a string. Shoot whatever, you girls want.
Most of my job was refilling the piles of rounds they went through.
