In Corpus, Water Street Oyster Bar. In Port A, take the ferry & go to Aransas Pass or Rockport. Blackbeard's Too in Ingleside is good, and reasonably priced. Enjoy! IslandJim

Revoman: It's still there. Open at night, except some weekend days. Call first. One of my neighbors loves it. Not my cup. Enjoy. Our fave is Stingray's just down Beach St. IslandJim

The restaurants in port a fill up quickly so you will need to get a reservation or check to see if they have a online sign in so you can get on the list and know when to show up. The restaurants there are good but as everywhere else they are expensive. Finns, castaways are good. If you are looking for a nicer place that is not full of kids the Venetian Hotplate is great. You will need reservations.

Unless it's changed, most of the fish around here is sourced and not local. My nephew worked in a nice restaurant in Port A. I think they had a Sysco truck come in for their food. You probably won't find Corpus gulf/bay fish on your plate around here. For fresh seafood, go to a market or catch it yourself and cook it. And I could be talking out my bunghole and Corpus has the best fresh seafood restaurants in Texas.
