Solar flares are causing the recent radio and tv issues, along with possible intermittent outages for satellite internet users. They are also causing issues for satellite operators as they create additional drag in low earth orbit which causes their orbits to degrade. I took the shot above in Texas during the strong solar flares in May that allowed the northern lights to be seen - at least in long exposure photography. The dust on the other hand is causing an issue for me as I'm in the middle of polishing my 1962 Airstream...

Here in E. Tennessee our OTA signals has been terrible lately and our internet has been in and out also... I'm just blaming it on the frequent t-storms that have been rolling through the last week... Dan
