Of course it’s about making money, do you try to make money or do you work for free?
He has destroyed a great team & tradition He had an obligation to the fans People thought that about him when he bought the team and fired Tom Landry. Then they won 3 super bowls and all was forgiven. If they win another, the fans will forget all the “L”s of the past….its just how it is. Grandpa used to say "Even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in a while".
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Chasing money as the primary priority in life is not a quality or value most respect….quite the opposite.

Of course it’s about making money for him…but he also wants to win a Super Bowl. Winning a Super Bowl brings in more money than not winning one wouldn’t you think?

I would think so which makes the argument that he’s chasing money seem a little silly. I don’t think not winning super bowls helps the Cowboy franchise valuation!

These are the teams with the lowest franchise values. Jerry knows playoff wins and recent Superbowls have very poor correlation to the bottom line. Its all about branding and marketing, young son!

He has destroyed a great team & tradition He had an obligation to the fans Went from, what, 250 million to 9 BILLION? That was Jerry's priority. Al Davis taught him well. I've always said Jerruh looks for publicity more than wins. It's worked out well for him. And the fans keep coming back for more of it.

With the exception of the LA chargers, would most those be considered small market teams?…..and they recently moved from San Diego from their longtime fan base. What was KC’s value pre Super Bowl wins, vs now?

Ambiguous. Lots of ambiguity. That was idiotic Had to be Webster’s word of the day What’s funny is Jerry has been using that word, and toot’n his horn, last 8 years how he has a high “Tolerance for ambiguity”, ever since consulting companies started tell companies they need look for, test, and hire employees with these characteristics. No kinding, ever since then, probably 2015 time frame, Jerry over uses that word to describe himself. I bet Jerry saw that, and said yeah that’s me, I like that.. someone needs to count how many times he dropped that word in the press conference. I just think it’s funny, because I remember when I first say those studies from consulting companies, Jerry started using that concept to describe himself.

Honestly, it’s the people of Texas who have grown the value of the Dallas Cowboys. The SMU death penalty and decades of TCU football ineptitude were also significant factors. The third most inportant variable…prior to owning the Cowboys, Tex Schramm was a CBS executive. He understood the importance of aligning the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East and how to capitalize on that association through television media, advertising, and propaganda catch phrases like “America’s Team” and “Captain America”.
Jerry started off well by hiring the football genius Jimmy and allowed him to run things for four years….he also hired very good corporate management strategists. Jerry’s downfall was ego and narcissism. He thought he could do it himself without a great coach like Jimmy and Barry…..Gailey, Campo, Phillips, Garrett…only a delusional narcissist would think he could win a Super Bowl with those folks at HC.

The cowboys were losing 1 million a month when Jerry bought them, they were basically bankrupt.
