I’d get ANY including cheap ones except DAKOTA!!!! Had 2 of their brand of chargers go out in 2 months. Asked for a refund on the 2 month old set off 100’ah and got no response for that.

Hope you don't because they will not warranty them.

Interested to hear who you used that won't uphold their warranty?

Have a question. Do you just go buy 2 Li’s and swap em out for your existing TM batteries and go to work or is there more to it?

That’s pretty much it other than making sure you’re charger is lithium compatible

The last step is to beat yourself over the head for not making the change sooner!

I have quite a few in my shop from customers that couldnt get them swap them out. also hop on Amazon and look at the reviews that will give ya a pretty good idea. From my meeting with LiTime at ICAST they own most of the battery brands you see on amazon

Li time
Redodo
Ampere time
Power queen
Dr Prepare
Some are from rv applications, solar and marine use

The only problem I would have with cheap batteries is to make sure they are lifepo4 or some other chemistry that does not cause fires. I've heard some are advertised as lifepo4 but were not.

I would fight them on it but either way the price is low enough now that it would not be the end of the world. Got two years out of them already without any issues. My Ionic 125AH on the other hand just decided not to charge for some reason. Swapped it with a 100AH extra I had laying around for another boat only to find out at the boat ramp the BMS could not handle cranking the motor. Would just shut it down. Tried my two 100AH Amazons that I use for trolling and same thing. BMS shutdown. Lesson learned. Only certain rated lithiums can be utilized for cranking. Have had that Ionic125AH for 2 years as well without issue running all electronics, accessories, and cranking. Think I got it to begin taking a charge again last night. Will find out when I get home. So long story short it seems the cheapo Amazons are fine for trolling but an AGM or higher rated more expensive lithium is best for cranking.

I went with Impulse Lithium 60a non bluetooth for 3 years and haven't had one problem... I'm fishing 5-6 days a week, 6-8 hours a day... I charge them after every use and disconnect after the NOCO shows them fully charged... Dan
