Is there a manual release? Yes. But, it’s not easy to get to. Flip the seat down a stick your finger in where the seat latch bolt would be, then using the tip of your finger you can slide the drive pin of the motor back and it will release the latch. But, you have to know the layout before hand or you’ll never know it’s possible.

Now we know why Steez needed the hot rod Yami, so he could out run the GW on the water and have time to empty his secret compartment.

Thanks guys. The last part is wiring the reed switches. It’s a cool function, but they have to be kept secret. Yards and yards of black leather and back suede. The magnet has to be within an inch of the right spot to activate the latch. Just imagine a magnet being touched to a specific spot and the door pops open.
