My old deer lease was about 15 miles from Snyder from 2000 - 2013 and we had 2 while I was there.

I was in the big one in Vegas in the summer of '92. It hit at about 4 a.m. It buckled pavement on the Strip and damaged runways at McCarran Airport. There was also a major aftershock a few hours later. We were staying at the Golden Nugget and definitely felt it.

Fracking cannot cause earthquakes for any of the morons wondering. The deepest cracks are around 15000 foot. That doesn’t scratch the earths surface.
It yall keep on thinking that.
Butch have you gone total solar and electric truck charges by solar yet in protest of oil and gas production?

Its not the fracking that causes it, its the waste water injection.

Bingo. I wondered for a long long time if fracking was causing the previously unheard of number of earthquakes. We never had that number before. Turns out in a sense fracking has a hand in it due to the efficiency of collection. And all that produced water has to go somewhere so it turns out they are sending it way way deep underground from injection wells right into the earthquake zone. Finally made sense to me.

BS they are sending back into the same zones they are drilling. Not deep deep in the earth. The majority of injection waste water wells run less than 400 psi. Does anyone really believe that 400 psi can cause an earthquake? Neither fracking or injection wells.cause earthquakes. Seismic activity goes in cycles and these are not the first recorded earthquakes in Texas. They had them way before fracking or even oil drilling was invented.
If you believe that drilling, fracking and injection wells cause the earth to move you should believe in man made climate change since they are both BS.
