Well think of the Fans they would draw in all the no love FFS people that currently hate BPT... Those people will now like BPT and now hate BASS. And those currently hate the format now will start saying the format is awesome. And no more #FBD hats, instead #XFFS. And what will TFF do with the reduced amount of posts about anglers that are only good because of FFS. i mean it would be a downward spiral for the fishing community.

Family commitments, they can't practice as much..... they evidently want to limit that too. Whatever it takes to keep the young guys out and the bait sale going is what they will try and push. I think it would be good to have a non FFS tour and a FFS tour, kinda surprised NPFL hasn't gone this direction, I don't believe they are getting subsidized by the sonar companies like BASS and MLF are. If the big sonar players are pulling back on MLF sponsorship this could be a trigger for this to happen.

What they need is a legends tour..... so the old guys can just watch that and shut up about what the other tours do.

The sponsor line up would be great. The “Aleve” heavy hitter on Lake Fork presented by Depends. Really work those sponsors in- “yeah my power poles stuck great in that mud thanks to the Viagra wrapped skeeter”.

General public is irrelevant. Their fan base is what matters and they need fresh blood as the anti FFS is slowly dying off of old age.

I think a legends tour would be awesome. Put them on some of the best lakes do 5-6 tournaments a year keep it a 30-40 person event, fish 3 days, mic them all and have as much coverage as you can plus only allow technology up to 2012 or something. Keep them in their old school element. Bring Denny, Larry, Roland, etc.

I don't think it's a terrible idea, follow the spawn, easiest lakes you can find. Just remember you aren't watching the best. You are watching exhibition

They could take 30 minute breaks throughout the day. Trailer to ramps close to where they are fishing.

Think they could find 30-40 "legends" that would have any interest in doing that? The money would have to be right to get those guys back on the road even if only for 5-6 events.

I don’t fish tournaments but I do fish 30 or so weekends a year, mostly just looking for one big bite. With that said I have always watched the pro tours when I have a chance, I’m not a FFS hater and I do have a couple of them on different boats but I will say watching FFS tournaments are not interesting to me, I’d rather see several different techniques being used rather than everyone throwing a sonar minnow on a fairy wand. Also don’t care who wins or how old they are, I liked the MLF Cups, no idea where they were going and no practice, basically the same type fishing I do.

Where's all this money going to come from... We've heard people complain that the payouts are the same as they were 20 years ago... I doubt sponsors are just going to throw money at a trail because Jimmy, Roland, Denny, Larry and Moe wanna make a comeback... We've got what we got... Dan

When MLF started those events were great TV, I cannot believe they ditched the Cups for that stupid Teams series. If they want to do a team series on the side fine but don't kill your best product

Every bait company out there now has multiple versions of a little minner. Pro bass fishing is starting to look like crappie fishing, jigheads and little plastics.

And they will lose the crankbait in a deep tree in an hour lol

I'd bet it's comparable... How many $5 bags of plastic can they turn out in an hour compared to how many $20 crankbaits in an hour... Once the plastic is injected or poured they're bagged and boxed ready for shipping. With the crankbait it's gotta be molded/ carved hand or machine, then painted, have split rings and hook attached, packaged... More labor intensive, and labor cost a lot of money these days... Plus the younger generation is using FFS and replacing that $20 crankbait with a .75 plastic bait... Easier to throw that 1/4oz jig head and minnow than that deep diving crankbait all day also...
