I'd love an EV to run around town but my apt complex doesn't offer any chargers.

Nice place on the lake there JP! Very nice! I'm out on the electric vehicles. I love the smell of gas combustion engines. Regarding the Tesla, make sure and park it away from anything flammable.

They said that you lose 50% on an electric vehicle when you drive it off the lot! Who's they? Every vehicle loses a ton after you drive it off the lot.

You won't see a Tesla sell for 50% off until several years after they are originally sold. At least I have not seen one for sale that cheap. With several EV manufacturers cutting prices many who bought them at high prices are kind of locked into keeping them. If they sell they are taking a beating, but not half off.
