Go drop her off at Vietnamese restaurant and have her work there for a few weeks... tell her she cannot quit until she has learned how to make the goods. They ALWAYS have a help wanted sign up.

Shame her Mom never taught her... That knowledge will die out esp. over here if you dont pass it on. What pho will our grand children's have?

Noted! Next time we go... likely wont be till fall. Pho does not go down well in summer for me. Its a cool weather thing in my mind.

I have really consumed over 5 gallons of Pho Pasteur product in Richardson. Also on Beltline, at Plano Rd.

Yea my boss loves that stuff. He told me one day that I needed to be more cultured and eat something other than beef potatoes and beans.
I reluctantly went with him to one of those Pho places in DFW area.
When we walked in I looked at all the other peoples bowls that looked much like yours above, with that sea weed, or pond moss or whatever and some boiled meat. Pretty positive there was scrambled eggs in there too.
He said “damn this looks good”
I said “ it smells like sweaty feet, you don’t smell that”
He emptied the bowl. I ate some crackers and hot sauce.
