Revolver, MSM, Celsius, Image. First round was Revolver, MSM, Celsius. About 35-40 days later was MSM and Image. Me a couple guys split Revolver a few years ago when it was about $200 a bottle. It's gone up a lot. If you have King Ranch - Revolver is pretty much a must have. If you don't the other three will do a pretty bang up job. It will at least clean it up enough to know what you're left with. Thanks, I don't think they have any King Ranch, mainly dollar weed, dandelion, dallis, crab and some other assorted broadleaf weeds. I have some MSM and Celsius but will have to look into getting some image. I have some Sulfentrazone 4SC do you think that would work in place of Image?

Go Image, available at box stores and now is a great time to tank it. Table the Sulfentrazone. It's a good but needs to be watered in pretty much immediately with the coming temps. She/you will have some Dallis left. Run the Cel/Msm/Imag/nis mix and see how it looks in 30 days or so. Lowes is now stocking a good T13 AMS based fert for a good price. I'd have them hammer down with it, mow their [censored] off and water accordingly.

Can MSM, Celsius and Image all be mixed in the same tank or should they be applied separately? Should they be watered in after application?

It can all be mixed together. Per 1000. 3.2g of Celsius, 0.3g of MSM, 4 fluid oz Image, nonionic surfactant 1/2 tablespoon per gallon. Blanket spray, let sit 24-48 hours then water in. Image is the only one that needs to be watered in. This is the Image you want. https://www.imageforweeds.com/all-products/kills-nutsedge-concentrate

Thanks for linking the proper Image product. I was looking online and saw there were several different Image products, each with different Active Ingredients. The one I was looking at had Sulfentrazone and Quinclorac as the AI, which is why I asked about using the Sulfentrazone which I already have. I found the one you referenced at Home Depot and will pick it up in the morning. And Thanks for providing the application amounts, as that makes it easy peasy. I'll get some before and after photos and let you know how its progressing.

Have you used MSM before? I so then I'm sure you have measured out before and good. If not don't mess up the decimal point. 0.3 grams is not much and don't confuse it with the Celsius at 3.2 grams per k. The three way combo you're about to spray is a banger for summer salad bar clean up. I think you'll be happy with the results. Would love to see some before and after pics.

No I haven't used it before. Just bought it a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of being a good product to use on their yard. I did catch the 0.3 gram measurement for the MSM, but appreciate you following-up as making that kind of error would likely turn their yard into a desert landscape. I have a decent gram scale which I use to measure other herbicides/pre-emergents, that I'll use to measure it out with. I also have some calibration weights, with the smallest one being 0.5 grams, and the scale measured it at exactly 0.5 so pretty confident in its accuracy. lol, Did you know that half a sheet of Quilted Northern T.P. weighs exactly 0.3 grams? Thanks again for taking the time to get me started in the right direction, its much appreciated!

Derek, I’d love to reel mow, but I have to hide my bumpy lawn under 3” of TTTF. I did a full Reno and leveled it all 2 years ago, the frost up here heaves the soil, and makes it bumpy. I’m too scared to top dress the TTTF with sand, and I think my neighbors will think I’ve lost it if I kill it and start off with straight KBG

My first question was going to be are you running TTTF or KBG. What's your history growing bermuda/St Aug and what took you to MN? I know little to nothing about "sissy" northern grass/turf

I know little to nothing about "sissy" northern grass/turf The TTTF these days is hard to beat. It’s real fine textured, hard to tell between it and KBG, mines blended with some KBG to help fill in. It’s really quite nice grass, I don’t love tall cut turf, but it looks nice. I have too much shade for true sissy grass, PRG. I’m from East TX, Nacogdoches, co. I had a Bermuda lawn down there, never had st.aug (thank god, It’s too weird for me). I feel like I spent a lot of time fighting off Dallis and Bahia grass, got my lawn leveled well enough to start reeling and then met my wife, and moved to her “neck of the woods”, it worked out, I really do like it up here, fun place to grow grass and garden, something different for sure.

Mine would be pretty easy to do. Maybe next spring I’ll do it.

In a Bermuda lawn you can’t go wrong, it doesn’t turn your lawn to concrete like some think just don’t layer soil/compost, sand, soil…that will defeat the purpose

My spot leveling did well and I also keep sand available for sprinkler repairs, etc.
