I know a judge who is an X police officer. His police force killed a guy. Multiple officers attacked this guy, and killed him, because they were out of control. And still, they didn't learn their lesson. They are still doing the same chit to people. The piece of chit judge, empowers his police force to abuse their power, and break the law.

I’m friends with several and associates with a few more. The ones I am friends with don’t ever see a court room and are corporate attorneys.
For many court room lawyers, I think it’s 50/50 their inherent nature and their work environment. Many of them tend to be triggered in regular, casual conversation by what for most is a benign subjective difference of perspective…..almost as if they are in a constant state of anxiety shellshock. Some of them like to say things like “The law is what I say it is” and silly things like that. Some appear to be trained to convince themselves of wildly different interpretation of realities….very similar to how method character actors in Hollywood transition into completely different people.

Not all are bad. I really like my work attorney. Ex-marine, humble and all around good guy. If you met him on the street, he'd be in blue jeans with a friendly smile and a dip of snuff. You'd never guess what he does for a living.

They're a necessary evil. When you need one bad, you want a good one that can be bad for you. But if you get a bad one it's not good for you.

In my dealings with them over the years I have found very few that I thought were very good and even fewer that can follow basic instructions. Depending on the nature of work you are having done how well it gets done is usually determined by the paralegal lady and how good they are.

From my experience they win everytime. Consider how many suits get wrapped up because one party is just flat out of money or tired of paying legal fees.

They're people. Some are decent, some are not. Unfortunately, some -- not all, mind you -- have lost their perception of right and wrong, and will do anything they think they can get away with to prevail in court. I've seen some horrible stunts pulled and outrageous lies told by some of them. I don't understand how some of them can face themselves in the mirror every morning. But I also know attorneys, on both sides of the bench, whose integrity and ethical & moral compass are beyond reproach. Like any other people, they should be judged on their individual merits and not on preconceived biases against their profession.
