I bought this light for about think 80 bucks .
about a year ago, still going strong 👍
Then I bought about a $25 timer, from Home Depot.
Works great for my 9x20 boat slip 👍

And then I added this LED light, from Home Depot,
Originally overhead, to replace the old halogen lights they had there.
Course I've been using it, for the meantime, or until they get complete marina finished.

I would much prefer to deal with a few bugs with a white light that attracts more fish, then to be bug free with a green light that doesn't attract as many fish. I can sit in my living room and be bug free. What I have found with lights that are above the water is that bugs stay within a couple of feet of the light. The best fishing is at the edge of where the light shines down on the water. Fishing the edge of the light puts me several feet away from the light and the bugs don't bother me while I am hauling in fish. If the white light is under water then the bugs are a none issue. Underwater white lights are far superior to green lights for attracting fish. Absolutely no comparison. I have done actual comparison of underwater lights and above water lights by fishing them at the same time. In both cases white lights attract more bait fish by a multiple I cannot come close to describing.
