They did not have to be paid back. Hundreds of thousands of people were opening multiple LLCs to claim free money because the federal government included absolutely ZERO oversight on this. You had realtors claiming millions of dollars and using it to buy boats, cars, real estate, etc.

Well that was fraud if they were doing it like that. You got the PPP loan forgiven based on 6 weeks worth’s of payroll for your employees not yourself if I remember correctly. You had to keep them employed for an additional amount of time, a few months, can’t remember exactly.

Open a LLC for 6 weeks, employ your wife and kids and claim them. Then keep them on a "payroll" to pay out the loans and then "fire" them.

They are about to price themselves out of business! Maybe that is what needs to happen!

Its sickening how many people did exactly this

Why do you think a big mac costs almost 3 times what it did in 2019?, the govt printed money like it was going out of style.

Meanwhile Falcon just released an 18' bass boat under $45,000 and people are still bitching that it's not this or that. To hear it told on here if a manufacturer did that very thing they would sell a ton of them. Hopefully those people put their money where their mouth is.

So they joined a flooded market with another low volume seller. I’m sure though they spend the last few wonder years developing it so why not.

I suppose you held up your end of the bargain, the rules were written very vaguely and haphazardly.

No they didn’t have to be paid back- and it was very clear up front it didn’t have to be paid back as long as you followed the rules of the program. You had to meet some basic criteria and then send the supporting documents to the bank and your “loan” was forgiven.

Maybe Randy blaukat will get one he said he’s back in a 18’ with 115hp and no “cheater box” on the front since he lost his boat deal…

I don't know if you will see a bunch in the circles you run in. Hell my 19 foot with a 200 is usually the baby of the bunch at take off. I would suspect the casual fisherman, entry level, high school dad would take a hard look at it. Or at least they should. That brand is kinda off radar for most people and their distribution network isn't big. Who sells them around here.

I’ve never seen a Falcon that didn’t have the back deck carpet permanently soaked, maybe they fixed that on the new one.
