Yes you can get 6.8 in xlt trim bought mine a Waxahachie for they have a bunch withe 7.3 and 6.8.
No start stop nor cylinder deactivation. My neighbor has a 22 7.3 3.55 ratio rear he said his mpg is about 12 1/2 to 13. I’m loving mine.

I just bought a new 7.3. The 6.8 will do fine. The deciding factor to me was the smaller transmission in the 6.8.

The 10R140 is supposedly rated for 1,033 ft-lbs torque and the 10R100 is supposedly rated for 737 ft-lbs but seems to me either is adequate.

I have a 22 7.3 4:30 and get about 15mpg on the highway. Towing our travel trailer....10.

I have a 2022 7.3 but don’t really drive that much, tow mid size bass boat some - love it so far.
Trip to CO two weeks ago (3,000 miles) was 15.0 mph total trip.
Usually around 11.5 mpg around town.
