Here is my 2 cents worth on the FFS.

I use it but I would not say I am great at it YET !

Back in the days I would just hit 100 tree tops to find 5 bass. Time consuming . But Big Bass Yes.

Technology is a good and bad thing. Getting rid of it makes NO SENSE !

That is like telling everyone to throw your smart phones away and go back to the rotary dial phone.

That is not happening.

I agree I don't like seeing someone fish that way on TV but the sport has allowed it. I love seeing a guy put a pattern together and catching them.

That is something we all grew up doing.

Here is a Golden Opportunity for a new circuit as if we need anymore . Have a new big circuit that is NO FFS ALLOWED .

Then you can see who is for it or against it. I think there is enough anglers for both.

It would like to see that and it would be very interesting to see the best of the best in each bracket. IMO

i don't even have a boat and the solution with 2 circuits, with / without FFS, makes wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much sense in this day and time; i went crapy fishin' with my nabor that has FFS and all i can get out of it is that you don't fish dead water; that's also why i like fishin' n small tanks, not lakes; too much water

Interesting responses if you dont adjust to changes you will get left behind. FFS is not going anywhere maybe a few small changes like only 1 transducer. There won't be a major trail started with no FFS use, they may try but it won't get far. It's here to stay. To much $$$ involved to shut it down, that would be like a company mostly shutting down its advertising.

For all the perceived disdain for Uncle Randy there sure are a lot of posts about him and his YT channel. Worse than a jock sniffer.

The same guys that win the tournaments with FFS would win the tournaments on the series without it.
