Miliken showing he might be better off sticking to YouTube and Texas lakes. I know he’s still top 50 for AOY but goodness. I’ll be the first to admit I overrated his ability to be diverse.

There has to be a story. How does a guy like that only have 2 small fish for an entire day?

There isn't a fisherman alive who doesn't have bad days.

It would appear that the guys who were starting the "greatest of all time" chatter have gone silent. I have always been against claiming GOAT with only a small sample size. The guy is human just like everybody else. He will have his good tournaments and his bad, and we are seeing he is no different that anybody else. Mother nature is smarter than any human alive.

Tournament fishing has a way of humbling even the greatest.
More than one who made the top 50 cut didn't catch a limit there last day--- including the GOAT himself Rick Clunn.

I wonder if that is because they are swinging for the fences? Checkers or wreckers. etc...

The sun on that last day killed Mosley. He needed shade for that square bill bite he was on.

I tuned in without context to the Live feed on Saturday morning and was surprised to see Lee Livesay just standing around with his rod across his shoulders. I had no clue there was a place and time (other than site fishing) where it is detrimental to the technique to have a lure in the water.

That was an interesting and diverse mix of fishing. Power-Poles down on main lake pointing toward the end of the point and just waiting for fish to come to you and fire up!

Yes, fishing has changed quite a bit.....always taught to keep your lure in the water to catch em'......
