Brisket with plenty of fat on it. I agree. I used to chop the point and slice the flat because the flat makes the prettiest slices. I have reversed my opinion on that now and the point is my favorite and I chop the flat if I want any chopped brisket. It needs to be rendered really good though. White fat on a brisket is not appealing and wasn`t rendered enough.

Depends on whether I'm cooking it or getting it at a BBQ place. For my cooking, I like ribs and pulled pork. At a BBQ place, I usually know what they do best and order that. If it's a place I have never been to before, It's automatically sliced brisket and sausage.

About the only way I eat brisket is either a chopped beef sandwich or a taco, I have to go with either pork ribs or beef Dino rib.

Ribs are my favorite to cook at home. Brisket is my favorite to judge BBQ restaurants. Bet you hand out a lot of zeros!

So if I am eating a plate of bbq, then brisket is absolutely the #1 go-to. But if you are making "stuff" out of it - sammich, taco, etc... then I prefer the pulled pork.
That said, all are good. There are days where I'll be the weird-o that gets a plate of smoked turkey. Absolutely love it with a spicy sauce.

I love ribs and brisket, but had the opportunity to eat at a pig pickin in South Carolina and thought it was unbelievable. Whole hog BBQ is something everyone needs to experience.
