I kill it and I cook it, he uses too much pepper. He also kills it but not so much doing the cooking.
I also do the grilling and smoking.

She cooks.

I'm the better cook.

I cook southern, She cooks Yankee. It took me 8 years to burn her out till the point we can eat jalapenos at every meal. No more, "White Chilli" with the spice of boiled newspaper.

And serving peanut butter on bread as the side dish to spaghetti...

Nah. I'll cook.

She does. My idea of cooking is pull the lid off an put it in the microwave, or when it's smoking, it's cookin', when it's black, it's done.

we usually take turns. I usually always cook something in the crockpot on sunday. Her grown son comes and has dinner with us prolly 5 nights a week and he is in charge of providing and cooking on thursday nights. Although i'm pretty sure she starts something for him to finish when she comes home for lunch. Pretty sure thats happening. His usual meal on thursdays are baked chili dogs. Which are wonderful. We cook alot of casseroles but also throw in a frozen entre every once in a while.

W split the cooking back in the 80`s, but by the 90`s I was totally in control. She wasn`t a bad cook, I just really liked cooking the foods I really liked. We still split the holiday cooking and she does all desert for them. We`re both happy with the arrangement and split other task around the house.
