Who makes a heavy duty 3/4 ounce spinnerbait? I’ve broken five in the last two weeks. Broke three from a brand I’ve been using for years. Picked up three more of the 6th sense 3/4 ounce. Two of them the bottom blade fell off the wire. Fixed one of them and broke the wire at the knot on two yesterday. I hate light wire spinnerbaits.

Light wire spinnerbaits are desirable to a lot of guys because they thump more.

There are several made for Muskie out there that can take a beating, but many are heavy 3+ oz

Its a little heavier than 3/4 ounce, but the 1-ounce Paul Bunyan's Lucky "66" spinnerbait has taken more abuse than any other spinnerbait I have ever used. It has fooled 11 different species so far, including this 25-pound jackfish. These bad boys tear up lots of lures but not the Lucky 66.

I dont think he was talking about inline spinners. Nichols spinnerbaits are great in the heavier models. Very sturdy and great action and really cool color combos.

I build spinnerbaits on heavy wire. Like muskie level heavy. PM me if you want. Can likely make exactly what you want.

Check out Loco Lures Custom Spinnerbaits at Fishin World in Dallas or Anglers Pro Tackle in North Richland Hills. 3/4 oz baits have .040" wire and don't break, available in multiple colors and blade combinations.

Booyah Covert series are fish catchers, but the durability has declined. Blades get knocked off, the band that keeps the skirt on deteriorates in the box after a year, and lately I've had 2 of the wires break on me.

So, I'm following this post as well.

Gandy's heavy cover spinnerbaits were awesome.

You have a front looker and you’re not old enough to be throwing yellow spinnerbaits.
