Can never find white bass on lake Somervile, except in creeks. Went to Livingston for the first time, and it seems to have a much more healthy white bass population.

Thanks! I'm guessing this green light draws in the shad for you? I've never tried a green light before. Do you get a circling school of shad or does the dock get in the way? I'm thinking that the wbass aren't always around since they move around a lot. Is it hit and miss for whether or not they show up? Thanks again!

Yes, you are correctðŸ‘
Also, it's 55 ft deep, where my boat slip is at the moment, on Lake Travis not Lake Sommerville. And I do apologize, I had posted those past pics, on this bank fishing page, by mistake.
My bad, sorry, I was going to delete it but it won't let me🙃 have a nice day🎣 🤟🎣
well that's white bass for you :-) It's a real love/hate relationship for me and white bass :-) I love em when I can find em and hate em when I can't...
I don't know about y'all but there is something about Lake Somerville that just keeps drawing me back. I remember catching my first hybrid out of my canoe. I will never forgot how my line started screaming. I knew something was different on the other end. After about a few minutes of battling and being patient, I landed him. Last week, I was fishing at the dam and then bam something hit my line and took off. I immediately knew what it was. My line was screaming just like before. I got impatient and started reeling hard and my line snapped. Just that moment I had with my son, laughing and telling him it was a hybrid and exaggerating how big it was, was worth the memories lol. Hopefully, much more memories to come. Fish on!
