The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our third members only tournament last Saturday, April 13th on Lake O The Pines. Weather was as good as you could want for April. Of course the wind got up strong the last couple hours but it's spring in Texas. Fishing was good as we had 15 five fish limits out of 32 teams. No giants were caught but lots of 4-5 pounders. When we were buttoned up the team on top was Jerry Brown and Tony Schnurr with a limit that weighed 20.75 pounds. Big Bass went to the team of Tyler O'Connor and Shannon Morris with a 5.88. A rare sighting of Tony Schnurr, Jerry Brown and Jason Hunnicutt at a weigh in had to be documented, with predictable circumstances...



Tyler O' Connor and Shannon Morris only had one, but it was big bass of the tournament. A 5.88 beast



Tony Bryant and Brig Norwood had three



Ryan Culhane and Noah Hernandez had a limit



James and Shellye Crawford had four. James said he caught some but I'm not so sure about that



Hector De La Garza and Chad Grace had three for 9.34



They just missed big bass with this 5.83 that included a photo bomb by Hector



Nice to have Ryan Sudderth and Raph Spinarski back out with us. They had three for 10.01 that included a nice 5.22



Our TD's Eugene McBride and Tyler Austin had three for 10.29 that included a 5.37



Jim Phillips and Randy Bridges had a good day with five for an adjusted 11.36. That included a 4.43



Jay and Garrett Browne had a nice limit of 11.75



Another top ten finish for Jeremy McLeroy and Tim Clark with five for 12.51



Bo Dupree and Joe Thiebaud with five for 12.92



Brian Brooks and Steve Parrish with a nice limit of 14.29



Good finish for long time RHBC members Jason Hunnicutt and Travis Reaves with five for 15.79



Sixth place went to Mark Calhoun and James Clifton with five for 15.84. They had a 4.41 kicker



Fifth place went to Chris Atkinson and myself with a solid limit of 16.20



Fourth place went to Tony and Stacy Crawford with five for 16.23



Another strong finish for Clark Crenshaw and Chris Lewis who got third with a limit that weighed 16.98. Their kicker went 4.69



We knew this was a good bag and the scales told the tale



Ronnie Manning and Capp Peace with five for a great 20.06 was good for second place



Their big fish was a 5.58 caught on a frog. Fun!



Here are your winners! Long time members and friends Jerry Brown and Tony Schnurr topped us all with a great bag of 3.5-5 pounders that weighed 20.75. Well done boys!
