That’s going to be really nice to have I hope so. I need a place to get some of the junk from the garage into this shed. The boat for one, a sidebyside, lawnmower, etc. Boats, Zero turn mower, and SxS aren’t junk. They are required equipment. A push mower would be junk. Great point taken!

Only asking from experience, but make sure the guys are framing your main structure tall enough that your shorter awning will still fit a camper under it. Most 30x40 buildings are 12' wall height, which isn't tall enough for what you've got in mind (don't ask me how I know). That said, the pic representation of your building looks probably tall enough if that's a 10x10 door. But worth checking what they think the center height of the awning area will be - center is the max height of most RVs because that's where the ACs are mounted. 13'6" is max road height, although most bumper pull trailers are around 11'-11'6".

Great points. Yes, I discussed this with the contractor and he knows I want plenty of clearance for the camper under the awning. From the ground up to the top of the AC unit on the camper is 11'4".

Think I'll come out some late night and secretly plant a metric chit ton of (live oak) acorns all over your property.

I despise sweet gums. When I had a logger select cutting 12 acres at the front of my property I told him to take every sweet gum and commercially they're not worth anything. I've ringed them at the base multiple times and still didn't kill them.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.
