I've got two basset hounds and I'm not sure how taking them fishing would work out. They are a hunting breed and have to sniff everything they come in contact with as close as the can. I'd probably wind up digging a crank bait out of their noses.

I wish my dog would go out. The see water and in they go no matter where or when.

She goes everywhere with me. She's always ready to go fishing!

He goes every time except when fishing a tournament! Stays in the boat until he gets the signal it’s time for a swim!!

My Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. Got cancer and had to be put down last September. He loved riding in the boat.

Four legged fishing partners are great. Just don’t take them INTO a restaurant!!! There was a fat guy with his fat porgy at the restaurant tonight. My wife was really aggravated. My son asked the fat SOB if it was a heart attack sniffing dog or just a diabetes sniffing dog? Hahah.

He got pissed. I told him he needs to take his ugly dog to a restaurant with a patio. The restaurant owners are scared to say anything.
