A bit over done for my taste, but the Mrs. would love it. Don't matter how we like it. You did!! The last couple of HEB steaks I bought tasted like they died of natural causes. $16.99 a pound, cooked med rare, and tough as a boot. Not sure what's up with HEB. Normally even their non prime ribeyes with a big cap and lots of marbleing are tasty and tender. I've noticed that too from our HEB. Prime is still great, but if you go Choice it really falls off. I've been buying their wagyu sirloins and liking them pretty well. They're a bit on the thin side, but well marbled and so far have always come out tender.

Steak looks great!
Throw the rice in the trash for some pinto beans and steak fries though. Because the fat olds in here need to eat more gd beans

So what’s this manager special? Discounted on the sell by date only? Yeah, they have those here at Brookshire's. If you plan to make steaks that day, I start there. Usually can catch some good buys for cheap.
