Are you using your trolling motor or big motor?

They could use mine for the commercials. Bummer you got a bad one.

I seriously think mine is defective. I should take some pictures of the images sunday. It’s only good for about 20 ft.

I started thinking about your problem. Somewhere internally to the transducer there is some kind of a switch. This switch relays position, or orientation to the main unit. If you turn it sideways, it will know your in perspective mode, forward, or down. I was wondering if you had it too close to the TM head, if this could affect the position switch.

With my AT2, in water that shallow. I set the dept range to 2x and forward distance to 5x at most. If not, mynAT2 does something similar to this. It looks like you are in 4 ft looking out to 80 plus.
I know the 2 systems are different
I also know that my ultrex is no where near 90 degrees to the water. It off by over 15 deg.
When looking straight forward it is way off, looking left or right it levels out some.

Start a thread with some pics of your AT images, I will add some pics of mine and we can compare. Though I may not get back out for a few days.
Mine is an AT2 mounted to ultrex., I have had mixed results with transducer positions, I am seriously debating a designated pole, but I don't want to go that route.
My images are great, I just don't trust the bottom contours at all

If I started a thread of images from my beat up AT1, Crybaby Randy would feel sorry for me. roflmao

Both of my regular fishing partners have LVS34’s. They say mine is absolutely junk and unusable. They look for about 30 seconds…then start laughing and say “let’s go fish docks so you can sling your senko”. Hahahah
