Thanks for the pics and recap. I’m headed to Picachos in June with my son. Going with Ron Speed as well. This will be our first time. be sure to let us know how your trip went....ffishing should be really good because the lake will be much lower and fish concentrated.....we have thought about going in late may or June but were concerned with how hot it would be ...let us know about that aspect of your trip....

Common misperception for us in the states that grow up with seasonal weather. There is only a 5 degree temperature difference between January and June in the that area of Mexico.

That’s interesting I would have assumed June would be wayyyy hotter than January as well.

I went with Ron Speed to Brazil. Quality outfitter for sure. I need to take a Mexico trip with them.

Mazatlan is not far from Picachos. When I lived in Mazatlan it was a heck of a lot cooler in January than June.

When I lived in Mazatlan it was a heck of a lot cooler in January than June. water temps has a lot to do with how hot it is on a lake....several years ago went fishing on Falcon in late may...temps were in high 90's but water temps were still in low 80's...light breeze made it comfortable in boat but it miserably hot out on the bank.....be interesting to see if it will be too uncomfortable to fish or not in june...
