let me help you a little bit.....the operative word here is "ironically" no one would have ever heard of james Watson if not for Boyd Duckett/Gary Klien and several others who had the foresight and business experience to create major league fishing which has enabled 80 fishermen to earn several million dollars in tournament winnings and sponsorship dollars...Boyd Duckett and several other owners also rescued FLW and provided tournament opportunities for several thousand anglers through Toyota,BFL and college/high school tournaments....

Get out of here with that nonsense. Watson won in BASS and FLW before Duckett came along. You also have missed the fact that Watson has brought a lot of eyes and sponsor dollars to MLF. You act like Duckett has made all these guys careers. Reality is a bunch are probably gonna lose their fishing career in the near future. Most if those 80 guys had pretty successful fishing careers prior to BPT and would have won some events and cashed checks at BASS. What fishing superstars has BPT produced?

Name which BPT anglers have won several million dollars during the BPT existence. You can look it up via angler profiles on the MLF site. We'll wait for that list....

got no ties to boyd duckett other than having fished against him in redman/BFL tournys years ago when he lived in Demopolis,Al...knew couple guys from that area who spoke highly of Boyd....
I make no claims of being smart but i can see the big picture here and that is the opportunities Boyd (and several others) have provided for fisherman to make a living fishing professionally...apparently other fishermen like ott defoe,dustin connell,michael neal,andy morgan,skeet reese and jacob wheeler also believe in the leadership of MLF....

He really screwed over a lot of anglers with his promises of no more entry fees. Now those anglers will probably never be able to re qualify for the elite series with the higher level of talent over there. They are just stuck on a sinking ship that the fans don’t watch.

read it again...didn't say 80 fishermen had won several million each....said it has provided millions of dollars in sponsorship and tourament winnings for 80 fishermen...

Welp if you listen to multiple podcasts of guys who are actually friends with, and talk to those guys over there, aside from about 12 of them, the rest are miserable and regret their decisions. That tells me enough to base my opinion.
