Went to a local water body with carp as the target fish. I had two lines baited both with dough bait. Had one run after about an hour of fishing. About thirty minutes later I got another hit and it was a very nice Rainbow Trout. The length of the fish was 13.15" and the certified weight of the fish was 1.17 Lbs. Records application along with photos were sent to the Texas Parks & Wildlife for their review. The fish is a pending water body record! Would have loved to had caught a record carp to go along with the trout. Hopefully will catch a nice carp in the near future. Catching a record Rainbow Trout and enjoying the outdoors. It just don't get any better.

Thanks Leo for the reply. No Sir I was not using my ugly stick combo. I was using a six foot pole Walmart Combo, with six pound test line. Small size 8 hook.
