I highly doubt he can sue MLF. I'm sure in there rules and regulations they have a stipulation about not bad mouthing the circuit. To many people think filing lawsuits is real easy. All companies and organizations have a so called blanket to protect them from lawsuits.

Hard for me to feel sorry for Watson. He went all over complaining about Boyd and MLF yet went right back. He should’ve left a long time ago if he was that pissed off at em.

Ray Scott banned many people from fishing BASS. Mostly because in the beginning of bass fishing tournaments, the dock talk was not to be heard by new paper reporters, fans etc. Ray made sure anyone who didn't believe BASS was great place to be, wasn't around any longer.

With social media being absent in the Ray Scott era, it was much harder to trash talk, you had to do your talking face to face. Ray kept the lid on a lot of drama surrounding the first stars of the sport. There was plenty of drama and a lot of anglers thinking the BASS payouts were [censored], etc. There were also rumors that some bigger name pros had different rules and special treatment than the lesser known guys. Not many people outside of the anglers themselves heard about the fist fights in the parking lot after weigh-in, or anglers ramming other anglers boats, because of being on their fishing spot. This kind of stuff was taboo to talk about for fear of getting banned. At the end of the day, the people who own the business get to make the rules, and if "conduct" is in the rules, then abide by the rule or risk getting banned.

I spent 30+ years in a fire station, I get the value of agitation and it's honestly hilarious. Watson was in the the military, where often agitation is a normal day to day activity. Most civilians do not understand it, because most civilians have never seen or done the things that a lot of military and first responders have seen or done. It's not a bad thing on the civilians part, it just life.

If you cannot take some trolling, then you should work on getting your feelings intact.
