Truly the haters dint fish to begin with and probably haven't in years. I can count on one hand the boats I have seen in the last 3 years that don't have it.

I dont need it if someone else has it. I will just follow them.

I remember when we were happy to have flashers.

I don't...but eventually will. I want it for crappie. Plain / simple. There's no way I won't fish for crappie without it now. For bass, I'm still honing my skills to be the next Bill Dance, Roland Martin, Rick Clunn, etc.

It will shrink competitive bass fishing at the club level, IMO.
Its ok for the highly competitive money guys but when you join a club and just want to go fish for fun you'll see people who have more in their electronics than you have in your rig and it just won't be fun anymore.

I'm ok with it but it changes the fishing experience. I would not enjoy spending so much time looking at two or three screens all day.

it’s the cats pajamas for crappie. To me anyway the beam is so narrow out in front of the boat that it takes a lot of practice keeping your bait in the beam. It’s just not fun to me and really have no desire to spend all my fishing time doing that.

Which is hilarious as the majority of never scopers have zero problem ripping a fishes face off when on a bed.

FFS finally makes it to the OT. It’s all over but the crying now.

Back in the days when I first started fishing with my dad our depth finder was a rod stuck tip down in the water. If you couldn't touch bottom, you gradually moved in to where you could. Then it was time to bass fish.

Now if we can couple AI and a drone with it we'll have a true fish finder.
