Yes but due to my job I'm not allowed to have one. Do you have one of those goofy [censored] fire fighter porn mustaches ? You know what I’m talking about 🤣

I grew a full beard one time, back in the late 70s. Hated it and shaved it off after about 4-6 weeks, and never tried that again,

yup... got a yeard+ going right now... I usually hit it with a #2 setting on the trimmer and start over, but this time I had my barber trim it up nice, left the length alone, going to see what it looks like by next year... I love the bear oils too, using Honest Amish Classic Oil now...

Funny, I grew one in my 30's and it was pretty full. Grew one in my 50's and I think I'd have to go rip van winkle style to fill in my chin and thin areas. I gave up after deciding I didn't want it that long. May try again after I retire.
I've also lost a lot of hair on my legs in my 50's????? But my head is still pretty thick. I don't get it.

When I retire, my goal is to look and dress like Barry Gibb/ Kris Kristopherson on alternating days for a month; just to see how much I can still pull.

I used to grow a beard every deer hunting season. Now it's too bright white.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Can I grow a full beard? Yes. I can only stand to wear a goatee and have four over 20 years. I think about shaving it off from time to time, but still haven't.

My rule of thumb is full beard from Labor day through Easter. Goatee from Easter to Labor day. This year may be the exception . We're going to Alaska in June. I think I'm keeping the beard to look like Yukon Jack. But always some type of facial hair since puberty... gotta hide some of this fugly.

Nope, too many skips and empty spots. The first week long hunt I went on out in the boonies had folks asking me how I stayed clean shaved out in the sticks. Told them I had not shaved in 9 days.

Had a beard on active duty (Navy) until they banned it. I’ve had a beard since military retirement in 1994. During Covid lockdown I just let it get wooly. My youngest daughter and her husband busted me at the local Kroger. She said I looked like a hobo- get a haircut and trim the beard today! 😂
Keep looking forward. That’s why windshields are larger than rear view mirrors.
