I used to grow a beard every deer hunting season. Now it's too bright white. I grew my first beard this year for that same reason. I started not shaving the middle of bow season and kept it until 2nd week of December. Been there and done that and shaved it off. It looked good but it itched just enough to bother me so off it came.

yup... got a yeard+ going right now... I usually hit it with a #2 setting on the trimmer and start over, but this time I had my barber trim it up nice, left the length alone, going to see what it looks like by next year... I love the bear oils too, using Honest Amish Classic Oil now...  Do you like the grizzly, black, or panda the best?

Had a beard on active duty (Navy) until they banned it. I’ve had a beard since military retirement in 1994. During Covid lockdown I just let it get wooly. My youngest daughter and her husband busted me at the local Kroger. yes, but I've sported a goatee and stache since 1999. Both are solid white. and I mean white. Its a genetic thing. turned white headed in my early 40's

When I retire, my goal is to look and dress like Barry Gibb/ Kris Kristopherson on alternating days for a month; just to see how much I can still pull. Be careful. Alternate between such powerful looks like that and you might pull more than you can handle.

No can do a beard. I can do a mustache all day long. Had a great handlebar mustache when I was on the sub, back in the day.

I've had a beard since before beards were cool. I keep it trimmed pretty clean though. Too much maintenance once it gets over 3/4" or so.

I've had a beard for 30+ years. If i shaved it off i don't think that anyone i know would recognize me, even my wife.
