Just a guess- 58” total screen size, that gives you a 22 and 12 up front, 2(12’s) on the dash. Only one live transducer in the boat.

These guys could use four 9-inch screens and catch them just as well. The manufacturers want them to sell the most expensive.

I am really curious the lure manufacturer's point of view. I would think jerk baits would still sell like crazy, and there cant be a ton of money in jighead minnows (maybe im wrong). I would think everything else has to be down. My guess is they want tournaments won a wide variety of lures, which has not been the case.

I guess you didn’t watch what was going on then. Jerkbaits, jigs, wacky worms, senko, swim baits, jig head minnows and even the crazy Japanese baits were used on camera.

I watched. Let me phrase it another way. Do the big players, berkley/Strikekings/etc... have an economic incentive to support or oppose FFS?

They have an economic incentive to produce and market baits for use with FFS.

Well….Berkley has gone so far as to design baits they target at the FFS users like the Krej and Finisher. They even have a soft minnow bait geared that direction, I would say they are supportive as long as they can make some money in the market.

Didn’t Jason Christie- (the real one) , supposedly design the FFS Minnow for Yum?

I am agnostic

With that being said, wouldn’t be shocking
To see regulations coming
Baseball-no aluminum bats
Stock car-restrictor plates
Golf- limits on both balls and clubs (square grooves)
Etc

There is precedent here on the level of “tech” allowed
In a sport

I feel that in the long run that FFS will deplete the base population of the bass which keeps our lakes at a higher level for the fisherman . It's a fact that many bass after being caught do not survive for long after being caught. With FFS we now are invading places where once the base of our stocking was there by depleting it . Of coarse here in Texas we have parks & wildlife restocking every year. I fear that there will be a split in the bass fishing tournaments . I think tournament will be going to a FFS format and a non FFS format . Likely that in the long run will stop all of this B/S. It seems much like the politics of the day .Everyone wants an advantage over the other guy. FFS is surly an advantage over the guy who want to fish tournaments but can't afford $20 gees for FFS and what ever comes next.

I didn’t realize that it’s a “fact” that “many” bass die after being caught.
Where can I find data that supports that assertion?

A FFS system is nowhere near $20000. You can get a new system for $3000 or less and used system for $1500 or so.

If you truly believe that many fsh die after being caught then they are dying when caught without FFS too..

You can feel all you want but that doesn’t make it fact.
