So, is chunking a senko or fluke in 0-8 feet of water when the fish aer spawning "sporting"? It's like shooting fish in a barrel. A lot of people can only catch fish when they are on the bank in numbers.
If the only way you can catch fish is to chunk a senko or fluke at them while they trying to spawn then you should take a 2 weeks off from fishing, and then quit.
You've gotta tell me where you're fishing if it's that easy! ha! Pitching senkos up shallow is a super fun way to fish. It's great using your imagination to picture how they setup and where to present the bait that they'll be most likely to bite.

Did you fish for crappie or bass ? Bass exclusively, although I've heard crappie can be a blast.

Nonsense, go spend a day doing it then come back here and post your opinion I respect your opinion, however, I could spend a 100 years doing it and I'd have the same opinion. It's nothing to do with skill or difficulty or any of that. Fishing is about the things you can see and the things you can't. It's about creativity and imagination - the best anglers historically have had both among their characteristics. FFS removes those things from such a neat sport. It's just not sporting. Fishing is different things to different people.

My forward facing sonar is broken. It never shows fish.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

And did you catch any ? If so you are ahead of thousands of people actually not while I was operating the trolling motor, but when I just went to casting and the other guy did all the work it was pretty straightforward to catch them

Fishing is different things to different people. Indeed. Absolutely. I do feel as though professional bass fishing has pretty narrow scope (so to speak) so to be clear, that's what I'm referencing when I mention making different rules.

Was this other guy pointing the direction and telling you how far to throw?

Was this other guy pointing the direction and telling you how far to throw? What do you mean? If I cast too far I just reeled it into the strike zone and started working the bait. The direction was a very slight differential to the direction of the trolling motor, but I just casted directly to wherever it pointed.

Did you pay $2k to fish with red Jesus ? Honestly, that would have been an amazing way to experience FFS. Josh seems super cool and his clients catch a ton of bass - but, I don't take guide trips just cuz I like the fishing and figuring out the fish part. But, I'll gladly hop in the boat with someone willing to share their knowledge, even if at the end we agree to disagree.
