Update: House's are still burning in Hutchinson co. The good news is it was cooler today and the wind wasn't bad so headway was made on the wild fires. Hopefully it won't blow to hard tomorrow, alot of the homes that got it the worst were some that are in the breaks of the Canadian River Valley and the creeks that run to it. We still have no gas, water and electricity are intermittent with most of the water being used on the fire and some of the supply pumps got burned up. The electrical problems are due to downed lines from the poles burning. They are estimating around 300 houses that are burnt to the ground in the Fritch area. Another small town in the panhandle that was hard hit is Canadian. Thanks again for all the prayers and concern from the TFF family, even you Ghost, I forgive you for calling Baker Mayfield a DB. And all the methlahoma shots. We are not out of the woods yet but hopefully closer.

Wow some of the posts on here are awful.

Hate to see the panhandle going through this. I had a burst pipe at my place and it was a hassle. This is 100000x worse than that.

I didn't devise or invent it.

But I'll take your deep felt feelings of losing it all. After I build my new house. On your burnt out property.

I'm sorry. Texas can be rough.

You can’t buy things the old fashioned way? You have to prey on someone’s misfortune? What sorry thing to say.

This x 10000000. There’s some sorry humans on this forum!

The TFF has done one thing for me.

It has made realize without a doubt that 81 million people at the very least believe this fire is a good thing.

Woke up to snow this morning. Hopefully it can make it north of the Canadian.
It is incredible how everyone in the Panhandle jumps in to action when something like this happens. People offering space for animals, trucks being loaded with water, food, cloths, toys, diapers and pet food the moment they heard there were evacuations. We may not like you on Friday night but stand together in times like these.

Sooooo, his house, barn, tractors, livestock, vehicles burned up and he was relieved? Or, are you just saying his piece of scrub dirt got a little scorched?

We are talking about people who are losing their livelihoods because of these fires and you are comparing it to a "friend" who got his cactus apples roasted. What do you call somebody who says that?

oh
yes his house burnt down
we moved the cattle around
lost his boat
melted his water tanks
that stuff happens

what would you like to call me?
