Looks like you’ve got good trees there Bob-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Awesome!!

Every time I drive through Rowlett I think about how happy y'all must be to be out of there. I grew up in that area and I never thought I would see what is wandering around on the streets of Rowlett these days.

Keep the updates coming.

Looking great sir and thanks for posting the progress. I remember years ago, waiting on that slab to dry so dad and I could start erecting our shop.

Tree huggers? 😁There’s so many trees in East Texas compared to anywhere in Texas there’s still enough trees.

roflmao I know right. Geesh. I have a bunch more. Plenty of Sweet Gums if anyone wants some. Either we have a metal building for storage/shop or we have trees.

paint trees on the side of the shop, it will confuse the hell out of them.

The traffic there is what finally did it for us. We were in Rockwall County pct. 1A on Ray Hubbard, and would drive across the bridge into Rockwall. Due to Dalrock road construction at I30 and widening turn lanes at 66 and Dalrock, traffic was re-routed by neccessity through our once peaceful neighborhood. Mornings and evenings you had a 45 minute bumper to bumper ride to get across the bridge. When we first moved there in 2003, you could hardly hear any traffic. When we left, it was a constant roar. Liberalism was rearing its ugly head well into the Dallas county side of Rowlett. Then of course 18 liquor stores went up and with the twenty or more huge apartment complexes erected, it became NE Dallas.

I hope so. I need a place to get some of the junk from the garage into this shed. The boat for one, a sidebyside, lawnmower, etc. thumb cheers

Boats, Zero turn mower, and SxS aren’t junk. They are required equipment. A push mower would be junk.

No, I wish I was here to do that. We were camping down in Grapeland, Texas during the pour.
