The amount of trees being leveled in East Texas last year and this year is mind blowing

Shame those beautiful trees had to be cut down.

That would have been a nice place for a pool.

Tree huggers? 😁There’s so many trees in East Texas compared to anywhere in Texas there’s still enough trees.

roflmao I know right. Geesh. I have a bunch more. Plenty of Sweet Gums if anyone wants some. Either we have a metal building for storage/shop or we have trees.

coolphotos...You make me jealous. I would love to have a big shop to park my boat in, but they are just so expensive now. I wish you the best of luck and as MarcM64 said, please keep us updated.

We just poured a slab for a lodge and one for a barn at the ranch, it is all sand as well, we had every concrete truck and the pump truck stuck at one time, started out a big nightmare but somehow we got everything going in the right direction and it ended up going well. I did not see the point in trying to bring a bunch of select fill in for the pad, it is sand all the way to Australia , we dug 30 inch beams a foot wide, went with a 5 inch slab with rebar on 12 inch centers, not going anywhere. If you don’t mind saying, how much for the building only ? Nice place
