Received an Email from Solutions Pest and Lawn indicating they were canceling the Isoxaben from my order due to it no longer being available. Have been looking around and cant find anywhere which has it in stock, any suggestions on where to look? I've found a couple of sites that have the name brand Gallery 75 but it runs about $50 more than the generic.

Reached out to a couple peeps. The supply chain on generic Iso sucks for Gallery. It's name brand only right now it looks. Post is a much cheaper option probably

Does scalping apply to St Aug lawns? I've never done it, nor have I aerated or de-thatched..

I would say no on scalping, but never hurts to aerate, The pro's will be along tomorrow.

Scalping and dethatching not recommended on Saint Augustine lawns. Aeration is always good.

I had a huge St. Augustine lawn for almost 20 years. I don`t remember the height I kept it at during the summertime, but I usually lowered my ZTR 1/2 inch at the beginning of the season every year to give it a clean look and would raise it back a 1/2 inch sometime during the growing season (around July). I never scalped it though.

Got my SW1 test results in for my St Augustine lawn (N Houston)... how bad of shape am I?

Not great. Just going off the front yard. Super high Ph. I'd be pounding elemental sulphur at 5lbs per 1000 April-September. Or at least every other month during the growing season. Elemental has gotten expensive. Your low Potassium numbers is probably the most concerning out of everything besides Ph. You're a classic 1-1-1 setup. Lower inputs on St. Aug specially if you're not bagging your clippings. You could target 1/4lb of NPK monthly during the growing season. That would be 2lbs of 13-13-13 per 1000 granular. I'm still a granular guy at heart and like to correct my soil numbers best I can. But you can bypass the soil since I know you're a sprayer and spray a Peters T20 or Gravity S T20 at a low amount of 0.10lbs of NPK per 1000 every two weeks. That would be 1/2lb of soluble 20-20-20 per 1000. That's a low enough rate you don't have a fear of burning or have to rush and water it in.

On your Phosphorus numbers on the test you see it twice. At the top they are using an Olsen P testing method which is the preferred and most accurate P test for high PH soils. The bottom is the M3 test. In General: On high Ph soils the M3 will almost always show P numbers about 3x as high as the Olsen. Texas A&M only uses a M3 test. So, if you soil test with A&M and you get your numbers back and your soil PH is 7.4ish and higher, divide your P number by 3 and that will be a more accurate P number.

For the elemental sulphur, I know you've mentioned Tiger 90 t-pack, but I'm not finding that one.. I do see Tiger 90CR which is 90% sulphur with 10% bentonite. Will this suffice? Additionally, I'll also try to source my fertilizer with ammonium sulfate..

Hopefully getting these things in place will help me gain some ground on the war I have going with the fungal infections...
