Did anyone watch the latest. He took the winner of his silent auction at the fwf hof fishing at lake Naconiche after he caught his SAL.

What did everyone think?

A few observations... The guy paid an insane amount for the trip. The winner didn't come across as a hard-core bass angler. Seemed like an avg. Joe. I would have thought he would have been more eager / confident to try to make more casts at the fish. I am sure he was trying to learn but I would have been trying to fish a little more. I guess he was going to write it off as a donation or business. I did get a kick out of him talking on the phone trying to close a deal and catching a fish at the same time. Milliken did manage to catch a 10+. I'm not sure the guest caught anything over 4#.

We all know you are that tool from El Paso that use to go by “bockscar” or whatever the hell you used to call yourself. You are well on your way to embarrassing yourself again and I predict you will add another screen name in the near future.

Good on Ben for offering up the time to do this. Unfortunately the guy didn’t seem to have much personality to add to the vid. I would have been bombarding Ben with questions and copying everything he did that I could see. I certainly wouldn’t have been on my phone while fishing. LOL!! If that was me in that situation my phone would be on the bottom of the lake. The YouTube comments are hilarious IMHO. All the comments about “for 17K I should get to run the boat” and “Ben shouldn’t have even been fishing” made me laugh.

People sometimes give what others see as a "large amount" of money to help out good causes and really do not want anything in return. The dude seemed happy and content with is day on the water.

Props to the man for his generosity. I figured someone on the this site would tear down the trip. Takes a real tool to try and tarnish a good deed.

I figure there will be some people rip on it. Plenty of the YouTube mouth breathers already have a head start.

Most charitable auction items are overpaid for. Which is the whole idea. Im not getting caught up in the lovin and bashing of Milliken or J.J. My only opinion is if I'm paying for a guide or action I won. I don't want the guide fishing. We went with Slewfoot off the crappie forum last year. Todd never touched a rod except to retie or take a fish off. Others may disagree and that's fine. Like I said each individual should be able to decide on what they want out of a guide trip. I would think the ultimate advertisement for a guide is his client catching the fish.

Are you a descendent of the women from Dallas that was in the news because she ate 8 dryers sheets a day?

I’m from the part of East Texas that many of you from DFW think contains your “local waters” even though you’re 3 hours or more away.

What did you think of the video, Darin?

This wasn’t a guide trip.
