Curious if you’ve seen/are seeing the predicted influx of trophy hunters after Milliken’s SAL was reported.
Have you seen the hordes descend yet?

Mostly fair weather fishermen everywhere out this way.. Midweek not hardly anyone fishing any of the lakes.. Murvaul, Naconiche, Martin Creek… when there is wind or rain.. folks just don’t go.. maybe they are just smart but I welcome cold and rain… don’t care much for wind but you can always find out of the wind areas on any lake if you know the lakes. Saw tops 10 boats all day this past Sunday and most launched after lunch when the sun came out and the winds let up.. Now Lake of the pines is a different story.. lots of weekend guys there rain or shine.

Tough day of fishing.. really windy and cold… lots of boaters today. I take back what I said about fair weather guys here.. and replace it with out of towners all talking about the sharelunker that was caught recently.. roflmao

Threw a 5”, 4”, and 3” swimbait all day, all on underspins.. think I caught at least one on each bait, lost a couple.. all small.. bites were few and far between.. found a couple places where bass were chasing bait and caught them. I’m done with Naconiche for awhile.

Started in the backs and worked my way out today.. not much going on real shallow but had to check.

Off the water and done earlier than usual..

Ha!!
I figured that might happen. They all move so fast, the fish never get a chance to see their lures. I think a lot of guys forget that what you see in. 20-30 minute show might have taken all day or several days to put together!
Thanks for the great report again.

I went on to the Sharelunker website and discovered there is another guy that has been slaying them on that lake last year.

No kidding... roflmao Now seeing someone do that on my home waters makes me start thinking about FFS.. I had just about decided I dont want it but those results might have changed my mind. I knew that was the best lake I fished, just didnt think it was that much better. Now I will be checking out the other lakes on that website to see whats what. cheers
