We went through about the same amount until she bought a French press. I takes a little longer because you have to boil the water. Then let it have time to do its thing. But you're going to get a great cup. Get a stainless one though. She bought some cheap one at first. Just to see how she liked the results. It cracked in about a month. Had the stainless one ever since. Which is close to a year now.

Call me Old School. I still prefer the taste of percolated coffee.

Whoa! I use a percolator for camping but I never knew they had electric ones! I might have to try this. How does it do with grounds in the finished product?

I've used a stainless steel electric percolator for a long time in years past. I found that putting a real tiny X slice in the center of a coffee filter and sliding it down into the baket before adding coffee greatly reduced the grounds that might collect in the bottom. I never worried much about grounds - drank a whole bunch of cowboy coffee boiled on a camp fire. There's tricks to settle the grounds. But, the coffee filters sure help a bunch in a percolator.

We did a ton of research before buying this one several years ago. It makes amazing coffee, but it’s not big enough, so we ended up buying a ninja for around a hundred bucks. [Linked Image]

Have had one of these for years now, I like the Keurig as well, but the Mr. coffee seems to make the better coffee!!

Yes, NesCafe is my second choice.

These are much better options than filling land fills and our oceans with Kcups.
